*** 10 September 2011 - Holy Smoke BBQ – The biggest baddest BBQ in Australia. Guys shop, U5/30 Octal St, Yatala (next to super butcher). Our annual Cadillac club party at my shop is on again, and this year we are unveiling Robbie’s huge 20’ long smoke BBQ trailer with the best tasting Texas style BBQ you will ever see outside of the USA. Robbie is again heavily discounting this for members and is amazing value for money, those that attended last year all agreed it was a fantastic evening with great food and I hear this year the girls are organising some fun games (was cream really mentioned J) for those of you do not want to talk about big block engines and other fascinating Cadillac facts all night long. If you have any games or ideas to make people smile and have fun – bring that along also. More the merrier. All club members and family are welcome, we will have the usual car display and later in the evening a movie on the overhead projector. Plenty of parking space so bring a Cadillac or 2 along if you can. From 3pm’ish to late, price is $15 per head, $10 for kids for a meal to remember. Let us know if you are coming so we can ensure enough food is prepared by our Resident Smoked BBQ Expert, Robbie Dellow. DONT FORGET TO BRING A CHAIR & DRINKS .

30 October 2011 - Goombungee Little Folks Group - Car Show 'n' Shine, Motorbike Show 'n' Shine and Market Day. Goombungee Show Grounds, Lau St Goombungee. All funds raised benefit the Children at Goombungee Little Folks Kindergarten. Gates open 9am, judging starts 10am sharp. Competitors entry fee $10. Trophy presentation at 2pm. Please note winners MUST be present to collect trophy. Cars can enter the following Categories- Car of the Show, People’s Choice, Best Club Display, Best Vintage, Best VC8, Best 6 Cylinder, Best 4 Cylinder/Rotary, Best Hot Rod, Best Engine Bay, Best Custom Paint, Best Interior, Best Ute and Best Character Ute. Entertainment, Food, Drinks and Bar available, Raffles to be won during the day, Public entry fee - Gold coin.
